At Anchor to Life Pilates & Yoga in Alpharetta, Amanda Curd brings over 25 years of experience as a physical therapist to every session. Specializing in Pilates, yoga, and functional strength and mobility training, Amanda helps women in midlife and beyond build strength, improve mobility, and move with greater confidence in their bodies.
Each session is personalized to support your unique needs—whether you’re addressing pain, rebuilding strength, improving posture, or simply wanting to feel better in your body.
Because this isn’t just about exercise. It’s about longevity. It’s about maintaining independence, moving with ease, and feeling like yourself again.

The Classes
Every one-to-one session is built around you. Whether you’re healing from an injury, working on mobility, or just want to move through life with more ease, we’ll tailor each session to meet your body where it is—and help it move forward.
Sessions are available in person or virtually, giving you the flexibility you need without losing the personalized support and expert guidance you deserve.

The Studio
Tucked into a quiet corner of Alpharetta, my private studio is designed for just one thing—you. This one-on-one space is calm, focused, and fully equipped with everything we need to support your movement journey: the reformer, all the fun props, and yes—the beloved OOV makes plenty of appearances. It’s the perfect place to strengthen, align, and reconnect with your body (and maybe even laugh a little along the way).
Whether you’re navigating menopause, rebuilding after injury, or just craving a space where your needs come first—this is where we meet your body where it is, and help it thrive.

The Community
Beyond the studio, Amanda fosters a vibrant and supportive community through group Pilates pop-ups, wellness workshops, and fundraising events. These gatherings are a chance to connect, move together, and support meaningful causes—all while building friendships and sharing in the joy of mindful movement.
